First we pick you up at your hotel. We’ll then drive you to the Red Red Canyon, where we’ll acquaint you with your scooters, teach you how to ride, and away we go through the 13-mile closed-loop Conservation Area. If you’ve never ridden before this short lesson will be all you need to get going. With each mile of the tour your confidence will go higher and higher. By the end you’ll feel like an experienced scooter rider.
Calico 1 – This rock formation is just so cool. You could sit here for hours, or walk around all day scrambling and hiking on these awesome rocks. The picture opportunities here are some that you’ll keep forever, as you’ll see why there’s just nothing else like it, no matter where you’ve been.
Scenic Overlook – This overlooks the entire floor of the Red Rock Canyon, with the Escarpment on your right and the Sandstone Quarry to your left. Really awesome lookouts will amaze you and make great, memorable pictures.
Willow Springs/Lost Creek – These places was an important spiritual spots for Native Americans living in the Red Rock Canyon. You can see here ceremonial sites like Agave communal roasting pits, ancient campsites, and petroglyph and pictograph drawings over 1000 years old. This is also a good spot to see Bighorn sheep, although sightings are not every day.
Pine Creek Canyon – This is a chance to get a great picture in front of the mountains that make it the Red Rock Canyon. Here, you might even get to see the family of burros that come out to just chill.
We can customize private and group tours based on the interests of the participants.
Then it will be back to your hotel in our comfortable shuttle van.
